What to Expect
These are considered "mini sessions" so they are quicker and smaller than a traditional session. That being said, my ultimate goal and priority for all my clients is to make sure they feel comfortable, beautiful and more confident walking away from this session. Intimate portraits, aka, Boudoir can be a sensitive and personal session for most. This is a chance for you to feel amazing, come as you are and celebrate your beautiful body.
I create a comfortable and fun environment for you to be able to feel safe and confident. I realize not everyone has been in front of the camera in this way before. I make sure we start off with some very simple and comfortable posing and work our way to being as exposed as you feel comfortable.
I ultimately want to highlight and capture your raw beauty in it's truest form. I will be there every step of the way to help you position your body. Other than that, let's have some fun and create some truly memorable images.
FAQ
How Do I Prepare?
When preparing for your Boudoir session, make sure to have your skin moisturized and soft prior to coming. Bring lotion along with you as well to put some on right before the shoot - it always makes the skin look refreshed in photos.
We use the hands a lot during the Boudoir and have close up shots, so nails are important. Please have your nails clean of nail polish or have them newly polished, because we don’t want any cracked or missing.
When you come to the session wear loose fitting and comfy clothing, that way you won’t have any indented lines that clothes sometimes make on the body.
Do you edit out blemishes?
Short answer is Yes.
I will edit out bruises, scratches or breakouts.
I do not make edits to your form, body or enhance anything either.
When will we get our photos?
Photos are all digitally edited and delivered to you in a private gallery for download. Turn around for photos varies per session date, usually between the 1-3 week mark you can expect to receive your gallery. Your photos will be live and available for download up to 1 year after your session date so make sure to download those images to your computer or somewhere safe.
Do you offer prints?
If you are interested in prints or a photo book, those are always available for order at my online shop, intergrated right there in your gallery but no pressure, you are able to print else where as you please!
